Salone del Mobile.
Milano| 18-23 April 2023
Pedrali, the leading manufacturer of contemporary design furniture participated in the 61st Salone del Mobile in Milan from 18 to 23 April. This event is regarded as the world's most important international design event, and Pedrali presented its new collections. The set-up of the booth was conceived by the Milan-based DWA Design Studio, signing a new partnership with Pedrali. The booth's design reflects Pedrali's origins, which began with outdoor collections and evolved over the years to include indoor products. The booth is designed as a geometric volume in which each room is characterized by its own volumetry and defined by natural earth tones such as beige and sand. A neutral palette allows the products to be emphasized, presented in more intense and bolder colors.
The booth is inspired by warm earthy tones, and the materials selected for the booth's construction were also chosen for their intrinsic expressive value. The possibility of recycling embraces the sustainable philosophy pursued by Pedrali. The materials used are reusable, recyclable, and energy-efficient, emphasizing the company's commitment to sustainability. The pathway through the booth is a promenade that winds through six different settings, each with its own specific character that comes to life around a central court. The settings include the lobby of a hotel, an external patio, a lounge space that depicts a garden, an en plein air setting, a hybrid location where interior and exterior merge, and an outdoor arena.
The 100% Made in Italy company will present its new collections through a booth that celebrates its origins: 60 years of beauty, tradition and innovation
This year, Pedrali marks an important anniversary: 60 years since the company's foundation. The company has a family history that dates back to 1963 when Mario Pedrali founded a craft workshop in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, in the province of Brescia, where he began to produce his first outdoor seating collections in forged iron.
The company's 34th participation at the Salone del Mobile represents one of the first moments to celebrate this important milestone, which will find its highest expression in the autumn with a dedicated event.

lamorisse wins the BIG SEE Award 2023
The Lamorisse Wood armchair is designed for indoor use, and is a perfect addition to an elegant dining room or fine restaurant. The ash wood frame of the armchair features oval-shaped legs that blend with rounded armrests that are steam-curved. The joints of the frame are slightly thicker for added strength, and the armchair includes a soft, generous cushion that is extremely comfortable and embracing.
The seat of the armchair is supported by a thin metal frame, and the use of elastic belts and non-deformable polyurethane foam provide a high level of comfort. The backrest and armrests of the armchair have a soft, wrap-around lining that is removable and can be joined to the seat with a zip. The backrest of the armchair is secured to the frame with a hard leather strap. The various components of the Lamorisse Wood armchair can be easily disassembled for recycling or replacement purposes.

Company's dedication to the "100% Made in Italy" philosophy
Pedrali has been designing and manufacturing furniture for over 50 years, and the company's dedication to the "100% Made in Italy" philosophy is evident in every piece they produce. The company's headquarters in Mornico al Serio (Bergamo) is where their automated warehouse is located, and the wood division in Manzano (Udine) also ensures that their furniture is exclusively manufactured in Italy, maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
One of the reasons behind Pedrali's success is their collaboration with numerous Italian and international designers, who bring their unique perspectives and expertise to the table. This collaboration has resulted in products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, making them suitable for a range of contract and residential spaces. Pedrali's commitment to design excellence has been recognized with several awards, including the prestigious 2011 ADI Compasso d’Oro for the Frida chair, which was designed by Odo Fioravanti.
The Buddy collection, is featured by a contrast between the bold volumes of the seat and the slender lightweight frame. Upholstered pouf in polyurethane injected foam and aluminium legs.
Pedrali's multi-material furniture range includes chairs, tables, furnishings and lamps, each designed to cater to different requirements and tastes. The collection combines metal, plastic materials, wood and upholstery, offering a wide variety of textures, colors, and finishes. The use of multiple materials also ensures that the furniture is durable and long-lasting, making it a sustainable choice for both contract and residential spaces.
For instance, Pedrali's Buddy collection, designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, is a range of versatile and stackable chairs that are ideal for contract spaces. The chairs feature a plastic shell, a metal frame and wooden legs, providing a comfortable and stable seating solution that can withstand heavy use. The Nolita collection, on the other hand, designed by Mandelli Pagliarulo, is a series of tables and chairs that are suitable for outdoor use. The collection features a steel frame, and the tabletop and seats are made of compact laminate, ensuring that they are weather-resistant and easy to maintain
