The Archway sideboard is a sleek and modern design by one of the primary figures in Molteni&C’s exploration into the world of design, Rodolfo Dordoni, and the latest addition to the extensive collection of furnishings for living.
This piece owes its striking form to a stylish and modern silhouette. The external facets are enriched by a glossy lacquered finish, while the top can be customized in marble or wood. The door is embellished with a slightly cantilevered metal profile in relation to the top, which traces the handle with a strong line. In the center, an open compartment with a drawer provides a central volume creating a sense of movement. The sideboard’s clean lines and the play of thicknesses between the structure and the doors give it a minimal and contemporary look and feel.
Archway is available in two lengths, 242 cm and 270cm, while the plinth is 18cm in height and hides an integrated drawer, allowing for added versatility within the design. Beautifully finished on both sides, it can be placed against a wall or in the center of a room, providing enhanced flexibility.
The sideboard can be customized in any of the Molteni&C glossy lacquered shades, including the new Pine Green and Almond White colors, creating infinite possibilities for harmonizing with any interior palette. The wood and marble varieties for the top include gold-toned limba or coffee oak, recognizable for its intense streaks, and calacatta, sahara noir and nero marquina marble with a matte or glossy polyester finish — a wide array of options for customizing the overall aesthetic.
The console’s internal compartments give the piece its most prominent detail. Cut at a 45-degree angle, it offers a uniquely contemporary look that is perfect for the dining room or living area. A unique and stunning piece of furniture that achieves aesthetic originality through technological innovation, the sideboard is the perfect blend of style, functionality, and personalization. Archway makes an excellent addition to any modern home or hospitality space.
